Synopsis :
“Who We Are" is the title of the final project for students in Semester 6 , Programmed Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering (DHK), Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Perlis (PTSS). Programmed "Who We Are" is performed at Reformatory Home (G). This programme is intended to change and help their lifestyle and also to build their personality. This programme also can be used to improve their self confident. The programme is to introduce the field of Hospitality for the resident of Reformatory (G) House. The programme also help the teenager to identify which field that they want to explore after they finish their studies.

Synopsis :
The Next Gen Hotcat is a program organized by students last semester in Diploma Hotel and Catering. The first time, this program collaboration with Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Syed Ahmad Tambun tulang, Kangar, Perlis. This program aims to provide an overview of what the Hopitality and the opportunities available to students after they finish their study. In additional, this program is to foster siratullrahim between Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Syed Ahmad.

“Program Kesedaran Halal” (Go Halal) is a program of talks organized by La Vida group, Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management, Semester 6, collaborate with Halal Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (HDC) and Jabatan Agama Islam Perlis (JAIP). The main purpose is to give an exposure and awareness of the Halal importance to the students from the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, Polytechnic Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin (PTSS).

This program was held to encourage housewives and single mothers to produce and market their products in directly involve in entrepreneurship field so they can be independent women and not to depend to their husband to increase their living life.

Synopsis :
“Save Me from Extinction (Save OrangUtan) “. That is our final project title. This program will be held at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort, Perak at 19 February 2011 (Saturday). The purposes to this program are to give awareness and disseminating information about extinction of orang-utan to student and community. The person who involved in this program is the student at Polytechnic Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin who is interested to be a volunteer that call ‘Love Team’. In this program, we will make a seminar which is in this program we show about all things about orang-utan like their habitat, their diet meal and their preservation and conservation. After the seminar, we will make a quiz to ‘Love Team’ which is joining this program to test their sensitivity about the issue of extinction of orang-utan. Besides that, we will make a trip or visit to Orang-utan Island to show the real habitat of orang-utan and their preservation. With have a program like this; it can enhance awareness about dignification of threatened species, in addition to give an opportunity to student and community about a way to care or nursing of orang-utan. The objectives of our program is to bring awareness to students at the polytechnic of extinction faced by the orang-utan in our country are becoming more common. In addition, it provides an opportunity for future generations to identify the species of orang-utan is not extinct yet. This program also want teach and exposes the students and community to always love something that already have and take care of it.

Synopsis :
Hospitality field is involved with warmest and welcome customer at the first place. Realizing that most of the students especially in Polytechnic Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin are facing difficulty in customer service and professional development skills, with understanding this problem we organize an event with title “Professional & Excellent Customer Service Programme (Pro-Excess). This program include with “Talk on Communication Skill in Customer Service”, “Forum on Professional Customer Service”, “Talk on Step by Step Table Etiquette”, and “Workshop of Go Grooming”. Lastly, the idea of organizing an event to share a knowledge and experience with professional people in this field are designed.
